MULIT-INGREDIENT NET WEIGHT BATCHING
                  (TA-1191-6-BATCH8-8)
                  WITH INVENTORY TOTAL

This unit has a maximum of 8 individual ingredient filling
controls. The ingredients will sequence from #1 thru #8
after the unit has been started by the front panel start
button.

The values also have associated pre-act setting and fast-
feed settings.

PREACT:
For example, if an ingredient target was set to the value
of 1000, and its pre-act was set to 50, then the
ingredient feed relay output will turn off when the weight
crosses 950. By using this pre-act value, compensation for
lag time and material free-fall can be made.

FAST-FEED:
Fast feed is an option that adds another output relay for
each ingredient. When the ingredient starts, both relays
will be on. When the weight reaches the slow down point,
the fast reed relay turns off and just the final feed relay
will remain on. The fast feed is set for the amount
early to turn off the fast feed relay. For example, if the
ingredient target was set to 1000 and the fast feed is set
to 100, then when the weight crosses 900 the fast feed
  relay will turn off.

This unit also has an Auto-Print feature that will generate
a print data output when an ingredient target has been
reached. It will print after each ingredient (that does not
have a value of zero) has been reached and a non-motion
condition exists. When the printer prints, the amount will
be added to a total acumulator for later total printing and
clearing.

TARGET POINT / FAST-FEED and PRE-ACT ENTRY:

Setpoints number 1 through 8 are available for final
ingredient target settings.

Setpoints 11 through 18 are the coresponding fast-feed
settings, although relays may not be attached to all outputs.
Set all unused setpoints to zero to prevent the system from
operating a setpoint that does not have a relay control
device atached.

Pre-act values are set by using setpoint numbers 21 through
28. (associated with targets 1 through 8 respectively).

                TARGET / FAST-FEED / PREACT

1. Press and hold the SETPOINT button until the DATA lamp
   lights.
2. Use the keypad to enter the Setpoint desired, (1 to 8) or
   (11 to 18 for fast-feed) or the Pre-act (21 to 28).
3. The display will show the current value.
4. Use the keypad to alter this value if desired, then press
the ENTER button to store the new value, and the display
will return to the weigh mode.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4, for all items that need to be
   changed.

NOTE: The setpoint values are stored in non-volatile memory
and will not be lost if power to the TR-1 is
       interrupted.

Emergency Abort:
To stop the batch cycle, press the CLEAR button until the
lamps stop flashing. This will turn any relays that were on
to the off condition and set the display to GROSS weight.

Operation:

1. Press the local front panel FUNCTION button, or START
button, and note that all the indicator lights to the
right of the display will flash. This indicates that the
unit is in the run mode.
2. The TR-1 will auto-tare to display a NET weight of zero.
3. The first ingredient with a value that is not zero and
that its free-fall is not greater than the target value,
   will activate.
4. The TR-1 monitors the net weight until the target value is
reached, then turns the relay off.
5. When the weight is stable (no motion), the printer will
print, and the amount will be added to the total
   acumulator and ingredient total acumulator.
6. Steps 2 through 5 will be done for all other
   ingredients in order.
7. When finished, the TR-1 will return to the GROSS weight
mode, and the lights will stop flashing.

NOTE: If the discharge option is installed, the DUMP button
can be pushed, and the dump relay will energize until
the gross weight reaches the value that is set in
setpoint #0.
