Signal Conditioners

Load Cells are used to convert the strain on the metal to a variable resistance. The bridge configuration of the strain gauges, allows the load cell to output a low level voltage change based on the input voltage (maintained at a constant and stable level) and the amount of strain or load placed on the load cell. At full load the nominal voltage output with a 10 volt dc input is 20 millivolts to 30 millivolts. This signal can be conditioned by our signal conditioners to provide
0 to 10 volts, or 4 to 20 milliamps, or RS232 with a 0 to 30,000 digital output.

Cell excitation voltage is 12 volts @ 500ma.
Span calibration by multi-turn pot.
Span range capable for a minimum 1.5 mv. per volt input (18 millivolts) for 10 volts.
Zero range is 2.5 millivolts plus and minus.

Model S-4-20 load cell signal conditioner with 4 to 20 ma. output.
This unit will supply excitation voltage to power single or multiple load cell systems.  The 
signal from the loadcell(s) is converted to a 4to20ma. analog current level representing the load
being applied to the cell.
The unit runs on standard 120 vac power or can be ordered with 220 vac or 12 vdc input power.
Cell excitation voltage is 12 volts @ 500ma.
Span calibration by multi-turn pot.
Span range capable for a minimum 1.5 mv. per volt input (18 millivolts) for 20 ma.
Zero range to set 4ma. is 2.5 millivolts plus and minus.

S-0-10 or S-4-20

Model S-RS232 signal conditioner with RS232 data output.
Cell excitation voltage is 12 volts @ 500ma. (7 vdc on 12 vdc units)
Maximum output at 3 millivolts per volt  is 30000.
Baud rate 9600 - 8 data bits - 2 stop bits - no parity
Update rate of 5 times per second nominal.
Data string sent once per update or request by host.
Data string is ASCII and consists of 8 characters as follows / STX / 5 digit value / CR / LF

Model TR-1-NK-I industrial digital scale indicator will attach and power all strain gauge loadcells and allow the signal to be calibrated to a digital reading of the precise weight. Standard features include, push button zero, push button tare, lb/kg conversion, printer output, remote display / computer output, all digital calibration and setup. Models available in 120vac, 220vac, or 12 volt dc. Options available for time/date / peak hold / weighment totaling / setpoint alarm / over and under checkweighing. Other models available.
